About the Business

I have a Labrador and have owned and loved dogs (big and small) all my life. My husband and daughters are all dog mad and our own dog is part of our family. We have lived in South Africa and also Japan and one of our dogs, a Border Collie/Chow Cross travelled to the East with us for 4 years. My career background was working in Women's Health. HoundsAbout was born when I decided to pursue my passion for the outdoors, love of dogs and enjoy work -life balance with a young family. I really understand just how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and also the anxiety of leaving your family pet at home for long periods whilst you are out at work or away on a day outing. I have completed an Animal Aiders Dog First Aid Training Course and also have experience of looking after them when sick.
