It is vital that your dog feels safe and secure in our care, so with this in mind, we always arrange a meeting prior to any booking. This gives you a chance to get to know us and see our home but more importantly, the dogs can become familiar with all our "smells". This an important factor to reduce settling in time and ease the transition.
We are a caring kennels and our aim is to make your dogs stay as enjoyable as possible. We are a kennels with a difference this is because with your permission where possible we socialise all our dogs in big paved courtyards, we have done this since we started in 1986! And proud to say it has made a vast difference to many dogs social behaviour, so much so that customers bring their dogs in for a holiday.
Cozi Pets was started up by myself, Marti, after my family and I moved to a new area away from our closest family and friends. After settling in we were ready for a holiday; the snag came when we realised that we did not know anyone close by well enough to ask them to look after all our pets.

My Husband and I have created as soothing an atmosphere as possible for both dogs' and their owners at The Dawg Shack Dog Grooming Studio, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. All dogs will be given a 1 to 1 grooming experience and we very rarely have 2 dogs in the studio at any given time. There is also a garden where your dog can have a break whilst in the process of being groomed.
Being passionate about animals has always driven me to wanting to work along side them, so when I fell pregnant with Connor I had to give up my day job, and found walking my dogs hard work whilst pregnant, this made me think that there may be a need for a wallking / day care service in our area hence Walkies Pet Care Services was born.
