About the Business
Our aim is to help you train your dog to whatever level you chose; be it to have a sociable, well behaved, happy pet and if you get "hooked", to take your training further to enable you to become involved in competitive obedience or agility.
Cornwall DTC (previously Lanner DTC) was set up in 2002 by a group of enthusiasts with many years of experience in training dogs. The members of the current Training Team participate in Competitive Obedience, attending shows throughout the UK.
We have 'Kennel Club Listed Status' which means we are able to offer you and your dog the opportunity of working towards obtaining the bronze, silver and gold Good Citizen Awards. The Good Citizen Scheme, which is not competitive, brings together simple exercises such as basic dog training, grooming, exercise, diet, cleaning up after the dog and general healthcare. All dogs are eligible for Good Citizen training, be they pedigree or cross-breed, young or old.
