About the Business

Anrich has been established for 35 years and our Dog Grooming Academy offers courses based within our veterinary hospital environment. Alongside our school we run a busy working salon with a team of 5 groomers offering quality grooms and great customer service.

You will be able to observe the day to day running of the business and get a feel for the profession you are about to undertake. Due to the success of the courses and the positive feedback we receive we continue to expand and our school gos from strength to strength. Places are often limited due to demand so book well in advance to avoid disappointment. We constantly strive to develop our courses to ensure students leave us fully equipped and confident. We have formulated a course that covers every aspect of dog grooming so you feel ready to start your new career as soon as you finish the course.

We believe in hands on training as the best way to learn and our Elite model club has a huge variety of dogs of all breeds for students to work on and our groom standards are extremely high with attention to detail. You will leave us fully equipped to embark with confidence into one of the biggest growing industries in the UK. All our students go on to have successful and rewarding careers.

Animal Healthcare & First Aid

Anyone who is embarking on a career working with animals should have a good knowledge and understanding of animal health care and a certificate in animal First Aid. As we are based within a animal hospital we are well equipped to give you all the guidance and information that you are going to need.

Our principal vet Mr Richard Weston is a expert in the field of animal health and this part of the course will give you a overall better understanding and knowledge of general animal health and is very relevant for any dog groomer embarking on your new career.
