Having successfully managed stables for a number of years, Rebecca turned to the equestrian property market gaining even more knowledge and experience. Offered an opportunity to train and work in dog handling and grooming, Rebecca found a new passion and several years later, opened her own dog grooming business.

Animal Magic was opened in 1992 by Kerry Youngman who has worked very hard with her caring and dedicated staff to build up a professional grooming parlour with a good reputation. For many years it had been Kerry's dream to open a hydrotherapy centre for dogs after seeing many dogs suffering with arthritis, injuries, and weight problems. After briefly owning Monty an English Mastiff who was morbidly obese and died at the young age of 5, she decided something needed to be done to help other dogs.
